RKA were Civil and Structural Engineers on this project as part of a design team lead by JCA Architects. The project involved the conservation, adaptation, and extension of a late Georgian terraced townhouse to become a new psycho-oncology facility. Works included a new extension and alterations to the protected structure; conservation and restoration works including the repair of the existing roof and building facades. The project won Best in heritage, Conservation and Sustainability a the CBA better building awards 2024.
