EXPERTISE

Ger was part of the original RKA team when the company was first formed in 1985. He left the company for a 4 year period in 1998 to work with Musgrave’s Store Development Department where he developed an in-depth knowledge of the Retail Sector, working on the construction and development of numerous SuperValu and Centra Stores throughout Ireland.

Ger rejoined RKA in 2002 as a Partner and brought his extensive knowledge of engineering and project management together with his retail experience to develop a successful formula and create a Project Team specialising in retail developments.

Ger has designed and project managed the construction of some of the most prestigious supermarkets in the country. Ger is also the Senior Engineer on a number of Local Authority Projects including the Glen Regeneration Project, a Cork City Council led multi million euro development involving the building and renewal of large areas of The Glen in Cork City.

Areas of particular speciality include Project Management, Retail Design & Development, Planning Process, Construction Contracts, Regeneration, Housing and Services.
